Zvezdelin Stojchev, 52-year-old, who got lost in Bulgaria's second highest Pirin Mountain on Saturday, has been found dead by a dog of the rescue teams. Stojchev guided an eight-member group from the Black Sea town of Varna, when an avalanche overtook them. Seven of the tourists managed to escape it. Their efforts to find their guide came to nothing and they called the Mountain Rescue Service. All the members of the group are safe and are on their way to the hut of Damyanitsa. In their search near the Tevnoto Lake of Pirin the rescue teams from Sandanski and Bankso were accompanied by a helicopter and two trained dogs. The rescuers are organizing the transportation of the body, as well as the withdrawal of the teams from the site.
