1st Bulgarian E-Encyclopaedia Offers 30,000 Entries

The first Bulgarian online encyclopaedia, compiled by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, will be press launched on December 11 - 15 at the Christmas book fair. It is an updated version of "A-Ya" printed encyclopaedia and contains over 30,000 entries divided into 900 categories and subcategories, plus over 7,000 colour photos. Visitors to the website can hear works by over 60 composers, the national anthems of all countries, and noises made by various animals. The encyclopaedia offers visitors Galleries with 60-plus multimedia entries, Atlas and Statistics appendix and a volume, weight and distance converter.
