Bulgaria: Bulgaria's Karatantcheva Beats Rybarikova in Cincinnati

Bulgarian tennis player Sesil Karatantcheva was scored a victory over Slovakia's Magdalena Rybarikova at the qualifiers of Western and Southern Open tennis tournament in Cincinnati, OH (US).

Karatantcheva won 5:7, 6:4, 6:3 in a match that lasted 2 h 13 m, Bulgarian news website Dnevnik.bg has reported.

In a dramatic twist, after losing the first set, a breakthrough in the 10th game helped the Bulgarian player win the second one.

Karatantcheva is currently 104th in the WTA Rankings, while Rybarikova ranks 47th.

In her next match, the Bulgarian will face Germany's Julia Goerges (#60), and a victory will take her into the main draw.
