Firefighters have contained a wildfire north of Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach seaside resort and there is no risk to a holiday village located nearby, BGNES reported on Thursday.
No one was injured in the fire that broke out at about 2 p.m. (1100 GMT) and engulfed some 15 hectares of shrubs and dry grass close to Khanska Shatra restaurant situated on a hill north of Sunny Beach.
The flames, however, incinerated a stable, three horses and a parked car but the Sunny Beach Hills holiday village was not affected, police said.
