Bulgaria’s Workforce Hits 3.7 Million as Productivity Sees Modest Gains

The Bulgarian badminton players – sisters Gabriela and Stefani Stoevi reached the semifinals of the Russian Open Grand Prix tournament, which is taking place in Vladivostok between July 21 and 26.
The Bulgarians, who are seeded first in the tournament, defeated Irina Khlebko and Ksenia Polikarpova from Russia with 21:17, 21:10 in a match, which lasted 35 minutes.
In the semifinal, the Stoevi sisters will face for the first time the Japanese Rie Etoh and Aoi Matsuda, sportal.bg informs.
The Bulgarians claimed the gold medals in the women's doubles badminton in the First European Games, which took place in Baku in June.
The great goal of the sisters is to qualify for the forthcoming 2016 Olympic Games, which are to take place in Rio de Janeiro.
