Months after the negotiations and preliminary agreement in April, discussions are still ongoing and will be aimed at the full lift of economic sanctions against Iran.
According to Iranian media, all parties in the negotiation have been retaining their firm positions and have refused to compromise.
“President Obama made it very clear to me last night: We can’t wait forever for the decision to be made. .?.?. We are absolutely prepared to call an end to this process,” John Kerry said in an interview following the talks on Thursday, as quoted by the Washington Post.
More optimism is rising as the deadline for the final deal is approaching.
"We are very close, but if the important, historical decisions are not made in the next hours we won't have an agreement", EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini told CNN.
