Slavi's Joke: Louvre

As you well know when Christmas approaches, gangsters get more active, spread all over the world to get to know it. Some go to Thailand to get better acquainted with the local sexual traditions, others, dressed up in Bermuda Shorts, go to the Bermuda Islands to launder money, and there is yet another group of which I am going to tell you now.

Two gangsters went to Paris so that they may see the world and the world see them. They loitered for a long time and happened to enter the Louvre. As they wandered and wandered around the halls, they finally stopped in front of a picture with big, yellow sunflowers. To cut a long story short - that was a very beautiful picture. Our gangsters called the curator and told him:

"Look, excusez-us, but we want to buy these sunflowers."

The curator, Monsieur Francois, taken aback, said:

"I am very sorry, but obviously you are terribly mistaken. This is a very expensive work of art by a very costly author. It costs millions of dollars."

But the gangsters did not give up and banged two suitcases crammed with dollars on the floor as if they were a tin of fish.

Finally the gangsters bought the picture. They clipped off the frame, rolled the picture up and one of them said:

"Well, man, after we bought the post-card, it is time to buy a present."
