A project for a regional information technology hub uniting the networks of Bulgaria, Romania, and Serbia is to be discussed by government representatives of the three countries at a meeting in Vidin.

The two entities are to address the concrete steps towards the implementation of the initiative.
After the meeting, the Bulgaria, Romanian, and Serbian government representatives are to visit a site that is part of the project for developing fibre-optic broadband networks.
The route is part of the implementation of a project for the development of high-speed broadband internet in Bulgaria’s rural areas financed under operational program Regional Development, according to a media statement of Bulgaria's Transport Ministry, as cited by money.bg.
