Only 18 of Bulgaria’s 247 Bomb Shelters Ready for Immediate Use Amid Rising Tensions
Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, authorities have taken a closer look at Bulgaria’s bomb shelters, focusing on their availability and condition

Nadezhda Neynsky, a former Bulgarian Foreign Minister (1997-2001), has said she has entered talks to take over Bulgaria's Embassy in Ankara.
Neynsky told the Bulgarian National Television on Thursday that she could not comment on the procedure, but added she was "ready to work for the Bulgarian national interest".
Nadezhda Neynsky (who during her tenure was known with her maiden name Mihaylova) how heads a party called Sinyo Edinstvo (Blue Unity), which was initially part of junior coalition partner Reformist Bloc (at the time RB wasn't in the government) but withdrew from the alliance over policy disputes. Between 2009 and 2014 she was a MEP for the so-called "Blue Coalition", a RB predecessor.
Incumbent Krasimir Tulechki has been in office since September 27, 2010.
Earlier this week reports emerged that some Bulgarian officials were seeking to secure Neynski a place in a Bulgarian mission.
Neynsky also commented on Moscow's claim that Bulgaria and Albania might be seeking to partition Macedonia, explaining Russia wished to trigger a diplomatic scandal between Sofia and Skopje.
