Facebook user Ralitsa Zgalevska posted on her profile on Saturday a picture of a unitily pole stuck in the middle of a road between the town ot Tran and the village of Studen Izvor, Western Bulgaria.

Zgalevska also wrote that she had "just sent a message to the Municipality of Tran" to demand that measures be taken to remove the pole, since it could potentially cause road incidents.

Tran's Mayor Stanislava Aleksieva later told Nova TV the pole had been there "for years", and had stood out of the road before recent reconstruction was carried out.

It was after the new asphalt had been in place that officials saw the pole was now part of the road, in her words.
