Bulgaria and the Euro: What Happens to National Monetary Sovereignty?
One of the most debated topics around Bulgaria’s upcoming transition from the lev to the euro is whether the country is giving up its sovereignty
Designers Dobromir Kiryakov and Borche Ristovski from the label Beyond already managed to get in the world spotlights as Sofia Vergara herself wore their dress at the 50th annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards in the USA.
As it turns out, for more than a year now, their clothes have been featured in some of the prestigious botiques in LA. The chosen dress was namely one of those that they have sent over to the US only recently. Apparently, either Vergara herself or one of her stylists have encountered the dress and selected it for her red carpet appearance, without either Dobri or Borche suspecting.
''I woke up in the morning and as usual, while I was still in bed, I started looking through my Instagram profile, '' Dobri said in an interview for View Sofia. '' And I was looking through the pictures, all of a sudden I see Sophia Vergara in one of our dresses. It was a very pleasant shock! It's even better that Sophia entered several best dressed celebrity rankings after last night, which is the best compliment for our work.''
This, however, was not the very first international success for the Bulgarian-Macedonian fashion duo. They already dressed the new spouse of Mark Anthony - Shannon de Lima, in a yellow chiffon dress in the beginning of the month. The stylist of the twenty-seven year-old model suggested the dress, and Antony himself selected the diluted yellow color of the dress for the couple's red carpet appearance.
