National Exhibition Caricature is a traditional event - an annual review of the brightest accomplishments of fifty contemporary Bulgarian painters, working the various caricature genres.
The event's fortieth editon was organized by the Caricature Section to the Union of Bulgarian Artists. Fans of the artistry will be able to see the humorous images live up until May 10 in the Gallery located on 6 Shipka Street in Sofia.
The main purpose behind the exhibition is said to be the development of the art of caricature in Bulgaria as well as the popularization of the art form across the country.
