Bulgarian companies exporting timber staged partial blockade of the country's borders and roads on Tuesday.
The protests come as response to the three-month moratorium on the export of timber, private bTV station reports.
The companies blocked two checkpoints at the border with Turkey – Kapitan Andreevo and Kapitan Petko Voyvoda, as well as the Pass of the Republic (Hainboaz) near the town of Gurkovo.
The representatives of the sector state that blockades throughout the country will continues until the ban, which entered into force on March 10, is revoked.
