Bulgaria: Snow Claims Lives of Two More Bulgarians Photo: BGNES

The abundant snow, which had fallen in the past week, has claimed the lives of two more Bulgarians.

A 47-year-old man, who had disappeared in the snowdrifts in the village of Nenkovo in the municipality of Kardzhali, was found dead.

Another man was similarly found lying dead in the snow near the town of Ardino, private bTV station reports.

In the municipality of Kardzhali 170 settlements remain without electricity, 119 have no potable water, while 33 continue to be inaccessible.

More than 60 settlements in the the municipality of Smolyan remain without electricity, while the conditions in the municipality of Ardino continue to be the harshest.

Meanwhile, the situation in the municipality of Pazardzhik is worsening, as there are tens of signals for flooded houses, courtyards and arable lands.
