Bulgarian Chief Prosecutor Sotir Tsatsarov and his deputy Borislav Sarafov are on a two-day visit to Kazakhstan, the Chief Prosecutor's Office has said.

Meetings are scheduled with Kazakhstan's Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbayev and other officials from the country. They follow Daulbayev's visit to Bulgaria in November 2014, when agreements were signed on assistance in criminal cases and extradition cooperation.

Tsatsarov and Sarafov are also due to look into optimizing the bilateral dialogue between Bulgaria and Kazakhstan in view of the present-day challenges such as cyber crime, trans-border crime and terrorism.
