Bulgarians started to change their negative attitude towards police, the National Center for Research of the Public Opinion (NCRPO) found out. According to the center's surveys, this institution has been among those of the best repute in the country since the beginning of the year. In November, more than 60 percent of Bulgarians nod approval to the work of police. This is a record-high rating for this institution, Tanya Tosheva from NCRPO said. The present leadership of the police is what added the impressing 20 percent to the rating, the sociologist says. According to her, over the last twelve years the sense of vulnerability is part of people's life, since they live in constant fear of raging crime.
