An accident with a 18-year old boy happened around 3 pm on Friday at the train overpass right above Hristo Botev Blvd in Ruse.

Dobrin was going back home from school and disregarded the sound signal for the approaching train, deciding to cross the railway anyway.

He was ran over by the international train travelling from Sofia to Bucharest.

Despite the fact that pedestrians are not allowed to cross the railway, citizens are disregarding the safety regulations on a daily basis.

The boy was caught by the machine and dragged for 10 meters, until the train managed to stop.

Local police is currently investigating the case and the railway in Ruse is currently stopped from operation.
