NO BUSINESS BOARDS FOR CIVIL SERVANTS

All the employees from the Economy Ministry, taking part in boards of directors will be replaced, and the new state representatives in the boards of the ventures are to be selected by competitions, Milen Keremedchiev, chief secretary of the ministry said. `We`re checking up all our employees who have been members of boards of managers or supervisory councils in state-run companies. Deputy-Minister Kaloyan Ninov has drawn up the list of some 20 pages. The members of the board are supposed to protect the interests of the state, rather than make money, he added.
