Bulgaria Will Not Sign TTIP Unless US Lifts Visa Requirements - Minister

Economy Minister Bozhidar Lukarski has said that Bulgaria will not sign the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) unless the US lifts visa requirements.
Lukarski argued Wednesday that Bulgaria’s stance on the TTIP was not much different from that of the other EU Member States, the difference being that Bulgaria wanted the visa regime to be included as a key point in the negotiations.
He explained that the talks had not reached the stage of discussing the US visa requirements, according to reports of investor.bg.
The official stance of the Bulgarian government is that the talks on the TTIP must include the visa issue.
TTIP was one of the main points on the agenda of the recent meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council.
Lukarski participated in the latest meeting of the European Commission on the TTIP.
On Tuesday, the European Commission gave a boost to transparency by committing to provide greater access to documents relating to the negotiations for a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with the United States.
"We want to consult even more extensively on TTIP," said Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstr?m, "and be even more transparent, so we can show clearly what the negotiations are about and de-mystify them. We'll use this as a basis to engage further with stakeholders and the public."

Would you be referring to all those Arabs that American Foreign Policy has displaced and caused masses of Afghani's, Iraqi's and Syrians to name but a few that are now flooding into the West as Refugees via Turkey, Bulgaria and Greece? Personally, I'd give them a birth on a luxury liner and ship them all to the country that caused their plight - the USA.
Plus, where do you get this idea about Euro 10K apartments on the Black Sea! I know a number of Russians that both live here in Bulgaria and also those that have holiday apartments here; few seek more than a Type D visa and of course their money is most welcomed by the failing Bulgarian economy. No problem with negotiating a no-visa deal with the USA, but that does not mean and a mass exodus of Bulgarian passport holders to the USA any more than the British Press stating that 30 million Romanians and Bulgarians would enter the UK after the 01 Jan. 14 restrictions were lifted.
"Great idea! Now we can give all these arabs BG passports and they can get on the first plane to the US"
And Russians too, thousands of peasants have bought apartments for 10,000 euros in Varna/Burgas and will be applying for BG passport and will be able to enter USA and can be enemies of the state or spies. Never trust a Russky!!
