Bulgaria: 71 Pretrial Proceedings Launched Into Voter Rights Violations Photo by BGNES.

A total of 71 pretrial proceedings into violations of voter rights at the early parliamentary elections have been launched, BGNES news agency reports.

Eight of them are summary proceedings and one an immediate procedure. There have been three guilty verdicts for violating voter rights.

Four persons have been charged with voter rights violations, one in the city of Burgas, and three in Veliko Tarnovo. A total of 28 pretrial proceedings were started in the capital city of Sofia, 11 in Plovdiv, 5 in Varna, 11 in Burgas, 16 in Veliko Tarnovo.
