An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale was registered on Greek territory near the Bulgarian borderat noon on Sunday, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake was registered at 12.45 noon on Sunday and its epicenter was located 78km southwest of Smolyan, 206km south of Sofia, 14km west of Kavala.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 2km.
According to the Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale and it occurred at a depth of 15.5km.
