Bulgaria’s caretaker Prime Minister Georgi Bliznashki has argued that the country cannot afford any more caretaker or technocratic governments.

In an interview on Sunday morning, Election Day, Blizhashki claimed that Bulgaria needed an ordinary government consisting of representatives of the main political parties which had won the elections.

Bliznashki, as cited by the Focus news agency, insisted that the caretaker government had done everything possible to create a normal atmosphere for the early elections.

Speaking after casting a ballot, he pointed out that Bulgaria would face serious reforms provided that no government was formed after the elections on Pctober 5.

He noted that the caretaker cabinet would keep functioning until the appointment of an ordinary government.
