Bulgaria's Chief Mufti's office condemned the Islamic State and its actions, reports Club Z.

The declaration is signed by the Chief Mufti Mustafa Hadzhi and his deputies and condemns the “barbaric attempts of the so-called Islamic State Of Iraq and the Levant”.

“We think that those xenophobic acts of violence, provoked by infantile craving for power, accompanied by total lack of knowledge on the highly moral Islamic values and apparent ignorance, represents a serious danger to global peace,” the Chief Mufti said.

The leader of the Muslim denomination in Bulgaria also noted that the killing of innocent people, violence, terror against civilians were totally unacceptable, reproachful and contradict the principles of Islam.

According to the Chief Mufti, there was nothing in common between the “commands of the All-Seeing God” and the acts of the self-declared Islamic State.
