Bulgaria's President Rosen Plevneliev extended his condolences to the families of the victims of the latest floods in the Burgas region and pledged all state efforts.
“It is high time that all preventive measures against further floods and tragedies to be taken”, Plevneliev said in a statement, quoted by his press office.
He urged the nation to show solidarity to the suffering people in the flooded regions.
“Humanity, courage and strong will help us in dealing with the aftermath of the disaster,” he said.
