Levski Loses from Sturm in Sofia

The Bulgarian football team Levski lost from Austrian Strum Graz in Sofia after penalty kicks and dropped off the UEFA Cup competition. The final result is 7:8. Each of the teams scored eight penalty kicks. Levski missed two while Sturm missed only one. During the regular time of the game, the Bulgarian team led with 1:0. Sasa Simonovic scored the first goal in the sixth minute. After this tense, very long game Strum goes to the third round of the UEFA Cup on aggregate 9-8. During the game a local newspaper photographer was hospitalized with head injuries after being hit by a hand-made bomb the spectators threw at the field after local Levski scored its goal.
