Clients of the Russian touroperator Neva, were asked to leave the hotels they are staying in, said Irina Tyurina, press secretary of the Russian tourist industry association. 

According to Tyurina, quoted by ITAR-TASS, clients of the agency who are on vacation in Bulgaria, Turkey, Croatia and Italy, were asked to either pay out of their pocket, or leave the hotels. 

Representatives of the Bulgarian seaside resort Albena told Dnevnik.bg that they have 118 adults and 67 children who are clients of the bankrupt tourist agency. The position of the resort is that some of them must pay out of their pockets for their stay and those who cannot, will have to leave by July 18. 

Tyurina, however, said that the tourists owe nothing. “The hotels don't have a contract with their guests, so they must seek the money from the touroperator,” she said. “The tourists have already paid to the agency.”
