Riviera Beach near the Black Sea town of Varna found its way into the top 100 hotels in the world, which work with leading tour operator Thomas Cook. Riviera Beach was selected in a representative survey, conducted among 50,000 German tourists, accommodated at hotels, which offer Neckerman programmes. Quality of the offered products, staff qualification, comfort and architecture solutions were among the criteria, according to which the rivals in the competition were assessed. Primo Award 2002 was handed at a specialized fair in Frankfurt, Germany, organized by Thomas Cook and Neckerman. Riviera Beach hotel will be included as Primo Award 2002 prizewinner in Neckerman catalogues for 2003. The hotel is the most recently built hotel in the luxurious vacation club Riviera, situated some seventeen kilometres from the city of Varna and in close proximity with Sunny Beach hotel. For the last ten years the vacation club turned into a symbol of high quality, prestige and luxury among tourism complexes on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
