Kremikovtzi`s debt to the Burgas port reached BGN 6 million. Some 2 million tonnes of metal supplies for Kremikovtzi per year pass through the Burgas port. A port official however said that the steel works would certainly offer an instalment plan, and even had already paid part of the liability.

Experts of the World Bank`s Global Environmental Fund arrive in Bulgaria in September to review what is called project on wet zones restoration and pollution reduction, in order to decide whether to extend a loan of USD 7.5 million. The whole 5-year project is estimated at USD 13.5 million.

The Albena Black Sea resort posts a 25% growth of the number of tourists as compared to last year`s figures. On August 24 the resort marked its 32-nd year. The Germans hold 55% of the foreign tourist
market, followed by the Scandinavians and the Russians.

The United Democratic Forces will suggest a profit tax abatement of 5% for companies posting turnover above BGN 50,000, as part of a package of tax draft amendments the party plans to submit to parliament, Agency Balkan announced.
