WARDS CLOSED IN MADAN HOSPITAL

Hygiene and Epidemiology Institute in Smolyan closed five wards in the hospital in Madan, in Southern Bulgaria. Some of the rooms are in a very bad condition, the toilets and the kitchens do not follow the hygiene requirements. There is a risk for infection spread. The management of the municipality provided 35,000 for the repair works in the hospital. Around 300,000 are expected from the Regional Initiatives Fund.
