Bear Attacks Lambs Near Sopot: Locals and Monastery Staff Alarmed
Near Sopot, Bulgaria, a bear has been causing concern after attacking livestock and venturing into populated areas

Two men near Bulgaria's Rhodope city of Smolyan complained of being chased by a bear.
The men, aged 31 and 56, alarmed of being attacked by a bear in the Soskovcheto terrain, Vesti.bg reported. They managed to run away, but the elder man fell along the way, injuring his head and arm.
Fire brigade units and the police came to their rescue. The injured man is in hospital in Smolyan, without any serious danger.
