Bulgaria's center-right opposition GERB is tipped for an overwhelming victory, according to latest results by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

With 13.6% of voting protocols processed, GERB has received some 33.45% of the support of voters in Sunday's European elections, as agency reports citing the election body.

Ruling Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) is, at the same time, lagging far behind, as its 19.32% of votes place it second.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), BSP's partner in government, is third with 11.89% of support, while Bulgaria without Censorship, a new party led by a former journalist, has made remarkable gains with 10.48% of ballots cast in its favour.

A fifth party is to enter the Parliament according to preliminary CEC results, as the Reformist Bloc has received 6.90% of the votes.

Far-right parties Ataka and the National Front for Salvation of Bulgaria (NFSB), as well as President (2002-2011) Georgi Parvanov's movement Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABV) are not likely to pass the 5.88% threshold if first official results are to be believed.

CEC data has so far matched that of exit polls released on Sunday evening, according to which GERB stood out as a clear winner, while the BSP, DPS, Bulgaria without Censorship and the Reformist Bloc were also marked as poised to enter the European Parliament.
