Bulgaria Moves Up in Bled Chess Tour Ranking

Bulgaria's women's team attained ninth position in the temporary ranking of the 35th Chess Olympiad, Bled, Slovenia with a total of 20 points. The success comes after the performances in the eleventh round. Bulgaria's women's team scored a victory against Slovakia (1-2) - Regina Pokorna - Silvia Aleksieva-Collas (Ѕ- Ѕ), Zuzana Hagarova - Margarita Voiska (Ѕ- Ѕ), Andrea Ciganikova -Maria Velcheva (0-1). The men (Vasil Spasov, Aleksander Delchev, Julian Radulski, Marijan Petrov) edged (1-3) the team of Kyrgyzstan (Vladimir Magai, Alexei Sidorenko, Aldis Shukuraliev, Andrey Maznitsin). In the twelve round Bulgaria's women's team will face the team of United States with 21 points so far. The men will play with the team of Brazil.
