A huge fire has broken out in Macedonia only 1 km away from the Bulgarian border, Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was located close to the border checkpoint of Stanke Lisichkovo near Bulgaria's Blagoevgrad.
Currently firefighters from Blagoevgrad are monitoring the fire and are prepared to take the necessary measures in case it approaches Bulgarian territory, BGNES reports.
The smokes can be seen from Blagoevgrad and the wind is blowing towards Bulgarian border.
