Business | August 25, 2001, Saturday // 00:00

The new chief of the State Energy Agency Milko Kovachev said that the October planned increase in the electricity price might not be the last for the following twelve months, wrote Dnevnik Daily. No concrete figures were mentioned. 4.2MLD kilowatt-hours were exported and the tendency is the export to Turkey, Macedonia, Greece, Albania and Serbia to reach 6.5MLD, showed the data that the ex-Chief of the State Energy Agency gave to the new Chief. Angel Minev and Gati al Jebury are the Deputy Chiefs of the Agency. The distribution of the functions between the two is still not specified. Most probably, though, Gati al Jebury will be responsible for the finance, while Angel Minev will be responsible for the electricity market.
