Bulgaria's right-wing split even further Tuesday as a new platform announced it would be competing against the Reformist Bloc.

The civic platform "Right-Wing Alternative for Bulgaria" just announced it was negotiating with other formations for a joint ballot in the upcoming European elections to be led by current MEP Nadezhda Neynski.

Neynski is heading the new rightist party Blue Unity, a Union of Democratic Forces spinoff much as Democrats for Strong Bulgaria (DPS), but recently declared it would not join the formal coalition of parties in the Reformist Bloc, which includes DPS.

In addition to Blue Unity, there are negotiations in place with the Democratic Party and the United Agrarians.

"Right-wing Alternative for Bulgaria" has invited all political parties that have run in general elections in 2009 and 2013 to join the debates on the national doctrine and 25 of them have confirmed participation.

A number of very small right-wing formations are included in the "Right-Wing Alternative."

After declining negotiations with the Reformist Bloc, people supporting Neynski explained that they have unsuccessfully urged the Bloc to form a strong right-wing alternative for an entire six months.
