Thousands of Slovak citizens took to the streets in Bratislava and other cities on the night of May 9 to protest Prime Minister Robert Fico’s attendance at the Moscow parade
Moscow clubs CSKA, Dynamo, and Lokomotiv are reportedly interested in Bulgaria’s national team captain Ivelin Popov.
The move could happen as early as January, according to the daily Izvestia.
CSKA seem the least likely to land the Kuban Krasnodar striker’s signature, since the team is in financial troubles. However, if Popov moves there, he will be able to partner with fellow Bulgarian Georgi Milanov.
Dynamo were interested in buying Popov last season, but Kuban were not willing to sell their key attacker.
The approximate sum for which they could let him go in January is EUR 5 M.
