Teacher in Plovdiv Detained on Charges Involving Sexual Contact with Minor Students
A 25-year-old man faces serious criminal charges in Plovdiv following an investigation by the Plovdiv District Prosecutor’s Office.
Protesting students are still considering whether to lift or not the blockade of Bulgaria's oldest and most prestigious school, Sofia University.
But it seems likely that on Wednesday morning the academic process will be back to normal.
“The goal of the blockade was to drum support and draw attention to our actions, it can not go on forever,” one of the protesting students explained to our reporter.
It seems that the longer the anti-governmental unrest continues, the stronger becomes the cabinet's determination not to resign.
It seems that it will take some blood shedding for any change to happen, no matter how brutal saying this sounds.
In the meantime the protesting students are free to rally, give away balloons and stage concerts for as long as they like.
Bulgaria has seen nearly a year of protests. But nothing has changed.
The country is heading for the inglorious future of a divided nation that nothing can unite.
