Bulgarian Football Club CSKA-Sofia Appoints Alan Pardew as Director

Veteran Bulgarian winger Martin Petrov is about to sign for local giants CSKA Sofia on a free transfer, according to Bulgarian media reports.
The 34-year-old former Bulgaria international was released by Spanish side Espanyol in the summer.
“There has been nothing official so far. Martin Petrov is currently abroad. We will talk when he comes back,” CSKA CEO Alexandar Todorov has told news website dnevnik.bg.
Petrov played for CSKA as a teenager in the period 1996-1998, after he was bought from Botev Vratsa.
The explosive winger has also played for Servette, VfL Wolfsburg, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Bolton Wanderers. He has 86 caps and 19 goals for Bulgaria.
