Bulgaria's Council of Ministers will discuss Wednesday a set of 100 measures aimed at reducing the administrative burden on businesses and citizens.
The proposal for the anti-red tape topic of the sitting was put forth by Deputy Prime Minister Daniela Bobeva, according to Sega daily.
Bobeva specified that these measures had been prepared and initiated by district governors through the cooperation of municipal authorities and ministries.
"These measures are the result of a consensus that the administrative burden should be reduced for the convenience of both citizens and the business sector," she said, without disclosing any concrete steps.
Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister also pointed out that Budget 2014, which was being prepared, had to emphasize allocating money only in exchange for real reforms.
She added that introduction of electronic government had proved to be one of the toughest reforms, taking into account that there was not much to show for the money which had already been spent on it.
