AGROPOLYCHIM WITH PERMIT FOR GAS PIPE

Business | August 22, 2001, Wednesday // 00:00

The Devnya-based plant Agropolychim, Bulgargas was granted permit to build a 2540 meters long natural gas pipeline that will connect the Strashimirovo gas station and Beloslav. The project is badly needed since there is a necessity of an ongoing natural gas supply for the phosphate production lines.
The owner of Agropolychim, the Acid&Fertilizers consortium will invest around BGN 900,000 in the project. The plant has already supplied half of the tubes, necessary to cover the route. Agropolychim manufactures ammonia, nitric and phosphoric acid, fertilizers and other chemical products. On October 6, 1999 the agreement for the sale of 63 % of the capital of Agropolychim between the Privatisation Agency, represented by Mr. Zachary Jelyazkov, Executive director, and Acid & Fertilizers consortium, represented by Mr. Philippe Rombaut and Mr. Vassil Alexandrov was signed at the Privatisation Agency.
