The development of the ecopath near the village of Trun can be patented and used in other border regions, Petur Petrov, chairman of the Bulgarian Association for Village and Ecotoruism, said for the Bulgarian National Radio. In his words the ecopath is the Bulgarian patented invention for using the resources in a border municipality. The ecopath near the village of Trun was opened September 28 and was financed under PHARE program. Unique rock formations, water and verdure is what will appeal to tourists most, Petrov said. In the opinion of Belgrade experts the ecopath is a good source of transborder cooperation.
