A policeman has shot dead an acquaintance during a quarrel in the Bulgarian village of Dobrinishte, in the southwestern region of Blagoevgrad.
The call to the police has been placed around 5:30 am Friday morning, informing two men were laying on the village's main street with gun wounds.
The suspected killer, 30, is a traffic police officer. He has been off duty at the time of the incident.
The police pronounced the other person dead at the scene. He has been identified as Spas P., 39. The shooting happened in front of his house.
The most likely cause is a domestic dispute.
