Mild Earthquake in Greece Felt Across Southern Bulgaria
An earthquake with a magnitude between 4.7 and 4.8 on the Richter scale was recorded on Monday morning in northeastern Greece and was also felt in parts of Bulgaria

A 2.4-magnitude earthquake was registered Wednesday morning near the southwestern Bulgarian town of Kresna.
According to reports of the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the jolt was registered at 6.46 am and its epicenter was near the section of the E79 main road connecting the towns of Kresna and Simitli.
The earthquake had a depth of 16 km.
According to reports of the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the quake had a magnitude of 2.2 on the Richter scale and its epicenter was 9km northeast of Stara Kresna, 22km southeast of Blagoevgrad and 93km south of Sofia, at a depth of 2km
There are no reports of victims or material damage.
