"Generous Heart" Hoped to Revive Charity Spirit in Bulgaria

The national initiative "Generous Heart" begins on October 19 in nine biggest cities in Bulgaria - Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Russe, Burgas, Veliko Turnovo, Blagoevgrad, Stara Zagora and Pleven. This will be the first national charity day in Bulgaria. 1050 volunteers, wearing speacial clothes and carrying boxes for donations with the logo of the initiative, will walk on the streetes of the cities. Each who has made a donation will receive a sticker "I have a generous heart."
This national charity day will take place every year. The occasion for fundraisisng will always be different and will support different causes, for which the state dodn't have the necessary resources. The ccordinators of the project believe that this day will turn into a tradition , which will revive the charity spirit in the Bulgarians.
The first edition of "Generous Heart" will aim at setting up a center for people suffering from multiple sclerosis in Bulgaria.
