On May 23, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev handed the mandate to form a new cabinet to Plamen Oresharski, candidate for Prime Minister of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP).
The entire panel of the government proposed by BSP is to be clear by Monday at the latest.
The Oresharski government is expected to be backed by BSP and the ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) party.
Andreeva is a gynecologist and obstetrician.
The head of the Sheynovo Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology, as cited by bTV, made clear Sunday that she had accepted the nomination after talks with BSP leader Sergey Stanishev because she approved of a the socialists' agenda in the sphere of healthcare policy.
