Hello,

My name is Mike Tate. I run a research society called Earth's International Research Society (E.I.R.S.), and I am the co-founder of Geophysical Assessment and Investigation Association (G.A.I.A.).

I am contacting you on behalf of a new volunteer organization that is dedicated to the preservation of ancient Thracian sites across Bulgaria and abroad. I am trying to gain publicity for their cause.

This organization is called the "Thracian Preservation Alliance". It has been created out of a research mission to a small cluster of 3 mounds northeast of Sofia, next to the church of the monastery “Tri Svetiteli”.

These mounds have been looted and destroyed and are now being used as trash dump sites and as a place to take prostitutes. It is littered with trash and condoms. It is easy to see that such ancient Thracian sites as this are slowly becoming lost to neglect and time.

We are trying to gain as much support as we can get for the permission to have volunteers (that we can provide) clean and renovate this site back into a site of ancient Thracian heritage once again.

There are laws that restrict our efforts to accomplishing this and the site is being ignored.
