107,799 Bulgarian citizens have voted abroad by 10 pm Sunday, as voters go to the polling stations on snap parliamentary elections, said the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Close to two thirds - 63,152 of the votes - have been cast in Turkey, said the Ministry.
9,988 Bulgarians have voted in Spain, and 4,851 in the UK, with 3,119 of them voting in London.
3,376 voted in Cyprus, 3,169 in Belgium, 2,925 in Greece, 2,764 in France1,896 in Germany, 1,623 in France, according to the Ministry's data.
During the day, huge lines of voters have formed in front of large polling stations such as the ones in London and Vienna, according to media reports.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry further has added that the election day abroad is going on normally with no significant violations.
Voting, which ends at 8 pm local time, has already concluded in Asia and most of Europe and continues in the US and Canada, with the last polling stations to close in the US state of California around 6 am EET Monday.
A little bit below 7 M voters are registered for the May 12 parliamentary elections in Bulgaria.
