BULGARIA TO OPEN 7 OF 10 REMAINING EU CHAPTERS

`We have set the task to open seven of the remaining ten negotiation chapters during the Belgian presidency of the European Union. Among the chapters to be opened are `Freedom of People`s Movement`, `Taxation`, and `Financial and Budgetary Provisions`, Bulgaria`s Chief Negotiator with the EU Meglena Kuneva said on National Radio. Ten of the 21 chapters the country has opened have already been closed. Sofia has presented positions on a total of 26 chapters. Kuneva stressed the need for continuity in the work of the teams in charge of EU membership talks.
