As Bulgaria is past halfway through its early general elections, news sites continue to publish weather forecasts and horse race bettings that code runners' likely standings according to exit polls.

The results this far suggest a close race between what is referred to former ruling GERB party and what seems to be former opposition Bulgarian Socialist Party.

According to novinite.bg, the horse named General has gathered 33.1% of bets, with the horse Poppy second at 28.3%.

According to the BGNES agency, temperatures measured around the National Palace of Culture and Positano Str. in central Sofia are tied at around 30 degrees Celsius.

There is an official ban in Bulgaria on the release of exit poll results before the end of voting at 8 pm.

Like the Audrey Hepburn character in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," who relays coded mafia messages to a jailed don, news agencies beat this legal embargo with tricks like the above.
