A bus with Bulgarian registration veered off its path, resulting in 11 injuries, two of which are reported to be severe
Bulgaria's former PM Boyko Borisov has assured Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan he will do everything to win upcoming general elections in Bulgaria on May 12.
Erdogan called Borisov Saturaday evening, on the eve of the greatest Christian Orthodox holiday Easter, according to Vezhdi Rashidov, the Culture Minister in Borisov's cabinet, who was present at the conversation.
The call was very warm, and Erdogan wished Borisov victory at the election, according to Rashidov.
"We have learned our lessons. In the future, we will mend our mistakes for the sake of Bulgaria's prosperity," said Borisov.
"Politics is like a big book from which you can continually learn," said the former Bulgarian PM.
During the conversation, Borisov and Erdogan further expressed satisfaction at the good level of cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey.
